Start with the same work boundary
Compare the same pest, property and affected areas. Ask whether the price buys an inspection, a local treatment, a property-wide treatment boundary or a continuing monitoring programme. An amount alone cannot show whether two proposals address the same findings.
Public termite-price observations: 19 October 2026
These are two businesses’ own advertised figures, observed on their public websites on 19 October 2026. They are not quotes obtained for a test property, a market average, a complete provider survey or an offer by SG Pest Control. Availability, final scope and current prices need confirmation directly with the business.
Servcare: advertised baiting from S$850 before GST
Servcare’s subterranean termite page advertised baiting from S$850 before GST, with an optional one-year warranty add-on of S$350. It described an on-site survey, bait placement and monitoring every two to three weeks. The observed page did not establish the property size or complete limits of the starting price, or the tax basis of the add-on. These are the advertiser’s stated inclusions, not independently verified delivery or results.
Green Garden: advertised method ranges
Green Garden’s termite page listed S$800 to S$2,000 for baiting and S$600 to S$1,200 for corrective drilling. The pricing table associated baiting with subterranean termites and drilling with post-construction work. Property size, number of visits, full exclusions and GST treatment were not specified alongside those figures. A range for a method is not a quotation for your property.
Why these figures are not directly comparable
One observation is a starting amount with a separate warranty option; the other gives broad method ranges. Neither fixes the same property, infestation, access or monitoring duration. Do not combine them into an average or assume the lowest number covers the same work. The examples demonstrate questions to resolve, not which provider to choose.
Ask for an itemised total
Request inspection fees, treatment boundary, products or system, installation, number and timing of visits, consumables, reports, making good, tax and renewal charges. Ask what happens if further activity is found outside the inspected or treated area.
Inspection and access
Is the survey charged or credited if work proceeds? What areas cannot be inspected? Who pays for opening panels or providing specialist access?
Monitoring and changes
Does the amount include the whole monitoring period or only installation? What happens if more stations, visits or a changed method are needed?
Warranty and damage
What is the remedy, duration and renewal cost? Is any repair work or damage compensation included? Obtain the actual wording before treating a warranty as financial protection.
Prepare a comparable request
Give each business the same property type, affected locations, photographs, previous treatment history and access limits. Ask each to record any assumptions that still need a site assessment. Do not select a chemical or negotiate the treated boundary from a headline price alone.
Evidence limits and review
Price observations were checked on 19 October 2026 and may change. No provider was contacted, no customer enquiry was submitted and no inspection was commissioned. There is no sourced numerical study here for other pest services.
